Fall 2017 Higher Education Profile - Nevada

According to the National Center for Education Statistics, Nevada was home to 10 regionally accredited post-secondary institutions during fall 2017. These 10 institutions enrolled 111,823 students in fall 2017: 100,334 in undergraduate programs and 11,489 in graduate programs. A total of 44,089 students attending post-secondary school in Nevada took at least one distance education course, representing 39.4 percent of the state's total student body. A total of 13,738 students were enrolled exclusively (100% online) in distance education courses with 12,757 (92.8%) of those residing in the state of Nevada.
